Based out of Santa Barbara, California, we have educators in Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, New York, and Boston. We believe strongly that all children have unique learning needs. As we learn more about your child, we find the ways that they learn best and create a distinct program just for them.

Chelsea is an educator with a focus on innovation and accessibility. After completing a bachelor’s and master’s degree in elementary education from Brown University, she went on to teach 3rd and 5th grade. After several exciting and engaging years in the classroom, she decided to start working one-on-one with students with language-based learning differences. She quickly learned that there was an intense need for this work in our community, and set out to expand in order to support more students. Eight years ago, she began Chelsea Miro Educators by assembling a team of PhD students in education. Since then, Chelsea and her team have helped students gain confidence, grow their knowledge, and find joy and excitement in their learning.

In addition to founding and running Chelsea Miro Educators, Chelsea is a highly regarded educational consultant and author. Her recent book, The Unbound Classroom (CAST 2019), is a practical guide to creating cross-disciplinary, thematic learning in the elementary classroom. Chelsea’s ideas can also be found in educational blogs and on leading educational webinars and podcasts. Chelsea speaks at schools and conferences around the country about how to make education more engaging and relevant.

When you work with Chelsea Miro Educators, you work directly with Chelsea. She coordinates all of the work each educator does, making sure that students are constantly challenged and supported. In addition, Chelsea does all of the scheduling and consultations, and runs the college counseling program.

 The Chelsea Miro Educators team is made up of leaders in the field of education. Every educator holds an advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Education or their respective field. They are all passionate about improving education, innovating curriculum, and supporting the learning of every child they meet.
